How to Install Dremel Moto-Saw Blades

yellowMini100This video shows you exactly how to install a 4″ pin blade into the Dremel Moto-Saw.  I show several good close up shots of how to slide the bottom pins into in the base and how to lock the blade in place.  Once you get the feel of it, you’ll be able to install a blade with your eyes closed!

The first minute or two of the video shows how to clamp the base onto your workbench, desk or table.  The last 2 minutes of the video, I show how to install the blade from several different angles.  I hope you find this helpful, because I really think the Moto-Saw is a great little scroll saw for the hobbyist or crafter.

Thank you for this, and for your Moto Saw review. Such helpful information given clearly and concisely. I’ve just set up my saw but haven’t yet installed blade or tried it (today’s task!). But, after reading others’ complaints about the difficulties with blade installation I saved the link to your video until I had blades and saw in hand so, hopefully, the vid would make sense. It did, it’s resolved the (non)issue, thank you for your efforts.

So looking forward to my Moto Saw in action! Btw, I found a plastic storage box in my art supply store with narrow compartments that’s working well for the blades. Room for label in each section, and easy to get at blades.

Thank you – your review convinced me to purchase. So glad I did.
