In this video, I show you ways that I tried roofing this mini house with die cut borders, made on an die cutting machine like the Silhouette Cameo.
In a previous video I focused on using a Stampin-Up Modern Label Paper Punch to make little shingles for my paper mache house. Just in case you don’t have a good punch for this, or don’t want to use a paper punch; in this video I show you few ways that I tried to do the shingled roof with scalloped borders cut on my electronic die cutting machine. They are not bad options, but just didn’t have the realistic old weathered look that I was trying to achieve for my mini-house.

And here is that link to the scenic artist I mentioned. His youTube Channel is The Kamloopian and his video specifically that inspired my paper punch shingles is this one:
(I keep mispronouncing his name in my video: It’s KAM-loopian, not KAMA-loopian!).
